Abang Village is located in the Jia Sha Township (贾沙乡) of Gejiu City (个旧市), Honghe Prefecture (红河州), nestled in the Honghe River Valley. It is a traditional village inhabited by the Dai (傣族) ethnic group.
The village is surrounded by rivers on three sides, with mountains on one. It retains natural and cultural heritage sites, including ancient trees, forest walkways, an ancient ferry dock, and the Zhenwu Temple (真武观) ruins.
