Overview

Rising to an altitude of 2,468 meters, Bailashan Mountain is the tallest peak in Luoping County, Yunnan. Stretching across the county’s center, it consists of three majestic summits — Da Bailashan, Er Bailashan, and San Bailashan.
Here, towering cliffs and rugged ridges meet lush forests dotted with temples and pavilions, blending grandeur, elegance, and tranquility into one poetic landscape.
Beyond its natural beauty, Bailashan is a cultural symbol of Luoping. Every October, it becomes the venue for the county’s popular mountain climbing event.

Located southwest of Luoping County town, Yunnan Province.
The highest point in the entire county.

From Luoping town, take a local bus or taxi directly to the Bailashan Scenic Area.

By Car ?

From Luoping town, follow the road signs to the mountain.

Driving time: About 40 minutes

Highlights ?

“Lashan Jade Belt”

One of the ancient ten scenic spots of Luoping. On clear days, a band of mist often circles the mountain’s midsection, creating the breathtaking “Jade Belt” effect.

Lashan Lake

A ribbon-like lake at the foot of the main peak, with crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding greenery.

Jade Belt Lake

Located in Yangzhewuo Village, 4 km southeast of the county town, under the main peak of Bailashan. The lake features Mandarin Duck Island, a charming spot for leisure walks and boating.

The Three Peaks

Da Bailashan, Er Bailashan, and San Bailashan rise steeply and dramatically — a paradise for hiking and adventure lovers.
