General Information

The total investment of the project (China (Gantang) No.1 Lisu Ethnic Village)is 1.437 billion yuan, and the total land usescale is 11,260 mu. A total of 1,658 households with 6,473 people in 37 natural villages have been relocated, and the Lisu population accounts for more than 95% of the total population. The project is centered on “targeted poverty reduction + characteristic industries + characteristic towns”. It fully launches the brand of the first village of China’s Lisu people and the demonstration park of ecological agriculture by means of relocation of ex-situ poverty reduction, modern agriculture with plateau characteristics, beautiful and livable village construction, rural tourism, ecological civilization construction, etc. eight demonstration zones. The project can broaden the channels for the relocated people to increase income.

Where is China (Gantang) No.1 Lisu Ethnic Village

It is located in Gantang, south of Yuanmou County, 5 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of 15,000 mu.

How to Get There

After arriving in Yuanmou County, it is inconvenient to get to China (Gantang) No.1 Lisu Ethnic Village. Car rental or taxi is the best way to get there, which takes about half an hour.

Introduction

China (Gantang) No.1 Lisu Ethnic Village is located in Gantang, south of Yuanmou County, 5 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of 15,000 mu. It is a tourism village characterized by ethnic customs, which focuses on ethnic culture, village farm experience filled with ethnic characteristics, special festival carnival, pastoral scenery tour, ecological leisure tour, specialty catering, Lisu training institute, Lisu culture display center, green fruit and vegetable planting and picking garden, green ecological stocking area, leisure area integrating water and the sky, featured folk houses, etc. It also combines the colorful ethnic culture with local customs of the local people. It is a good place to taste the special food and experience the daily life of Lisu people.
