Dewei Village (德为村) is located in Jingshan Township (金山乡), Gucheng District (古城区), Lijiang, approximately 3-5 kilometers from Lijiang Ancient Town (丽江古城). It is one of the traditional Naxi (纳西) villages, retaining its original Naxi residential architecture. The village is surrounded by picturesque rural landscapes and is close to the Lijiang Jinta Scenic Area (丽江金塔景区) and the Hongguang Village Tourism Industry Zone (红光村旅居产业区), offering a unique blend of cultural heritage and rural leisure.

Lijiang Jinta Scenic Area (丽江金塔景区)

This scenic area features the only Tibetan-style golden stupa (金塔) in China. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of both Lijiang Old Town and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山). Key attractions within the area include:

Ashoka Pillar (阿育王柱)

Best Visiting Time:

The area is suitable to visit year-round, but the spring season (March-May) offers the best views with blooming flowers, while winter (December-February) provides a quieter experience with fewer tourists.

Transportation Tips

By Bus: Take Lijiang Bus Line 15A to "Jinta Scenic Area Station."
By Car: The village is a 15-minute drive from Lijiang Ancient Town, with free parking available at the village entrance.

Local Experiences

Hongguang Village (红光村): Experience Naxi culture through activities such as bonfire parties and farming activities.
Lijiang Ancient Town (丽江古城): Enjoy the Naxi cuisine and architecture, which can be explored on the same day.

Local Cuisine

Savor Naxi-style barbecue, chickpea jelly, and eight-treasure pineapple rice, which can be enjoyed at local farmhouses or in Lijiang Ancient Town.

Sun Protection: Due to the strong sunlight at high altitudes, it is recommended to bring sunscreen and protective gear.
Temperature Difference: The temperature difference between day and night can be significant, so it is advisable to bring a jacket.
