Fengshan Park in Chengjiang County, Yuxi

Fengshan Park (凤山公园) is located on Beizheng Street (北正街), Chengjiang City (澄江市), Yuxi (玉溪市), Yunnan Province (云南省). It is near Jingning Street (景宁街), Huancheng North Road (环城北路), and Renmin West Road (人民西路). The park covers an area of approximately 126 square meters and is about 5 kilometers from the city center.

History and Culture

Fengshan Park (凤山公园) boasts a rich historical background. Notable sites include General's Tower (将军楼) and Zhizhou Pavilion (志舟楼). The General’s Tomb (将军墓地) is the resting place of General Luo Peijin (罗佩金), and the epitaphs engraved on stone tablets beside the tomb recount his life achievements. Zhizhou Pavilion (志舟楼), built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, was named in honor of Liu Chenggong (刘承功), the then magistrate of Chengjiang (澄江).
