Huilong Ecological Park in Hongta District, Yuxi

Yuxi Huilong Ecological Park (玉溪汇龙生态园) is located in the southwestern part of Hongta District (红塔区), Yuxi City (玉溪市), Yunnan Province (云南省), within the jurisdiction of Dayingjie Residential Committee (大营街居民委会), known as "Yunnan's First Village (云南第一村)." It is 90 km from Kunming (昆明) and only 5 km from Yuxi City center, making transportation very convenient.

Cultural History

Huilong Ecological Park (汇龙生态园) broke ground on May 17, 2001, and was completed in nine phases by 2004 with a total investment of 150 million RMB. The park established a Dongjing Music Ensemble (洞经音乐乐队) composed of 22 literati and a Folk Song and Dance Troupe (民族歌舞队) with 23 dancers, showcasing the region’s rich cultural traditions.
