Jiuzi Hai Village (九子海村) is located in Shuhe Sub-district (束河街道办事处), Gucheng District (古城区), Lijiang City (丽江市), Yunnan Province, about 26 kilometers away from Lijiang Ancient City (丽江古城). The village is named "Jiuzi Hai" (九子海) due to the presence of several naturally formed large and small ponds within the village. It is a typical secluded village, surrounded by mountains and offering rich natural landscapes and a tranquil rural environment.
Location and Transportation
Jiuzi Hai Village is situated on the east side of Yulong Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山), neighboring Yulong Snow Mountain to the north and Lijiang Ancient City to the south. To get there from Lijiang Ancient City, you can choose one of the following routes:
Western Route
Passing through the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area, which has relatively good road conditions.
Eastern Route
Traveling through the mountain road 10 kilometers away from Lijiang towards Lugu Lake (泸沽湖) (in front of the cement factory). The road conditions are poor, and it is recommended to use a 4WD vehicle.
