Lashiba Village of Judian Town in Yulong County, Lijiang

La Shi Dam Village (拉市坝村) is located in the central-eastern part of Ju Dian Town (巨甸镇), Yulong Naxi Autonomous County (玉龙纳西族自治县), Lijiang City (丽江市), Yunnan Province. It is only 0.5 kilometers away from the town government of Ju Dian. This village has a long history and was once an important post station on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. Due to its special geographical location, commercial activities have always been very frequent here. La Shi Dam Village is also one of the important ferry crossings where the Red Army crossed the Jinsha River during the Long March.
