Luoshuidong village（落水洞村） is located in the northeast of Yiwu（易武） Township, and its administrative area belongs to Mahei （勐海）village committee of Yiwu（易武） , Mengla County（勐腊县）, Xishuangbanna （西双版纳）Prefecture, Yunnan（云南） Province. It covers an area of 2.79 square kilometers, with an altitude of 1287 meters, an annual average temperature of 17 degrees Celsius and an annual precipitation of 1950 mm. Luoshuidong（落水洞村） is a natural village, formerly named manluo（曼落）, with 23 households and a population of 93. The name of Luoshui village（落水洞村） comes from the fact that there is a huge cave in the center of village because of the karst landform(喀斯特地貌) of Yunnan（云南） Province, which is connected with the river. Even the rainfall is large, the water in the cave will not overflow. Luoshuidong（落水洞村） is about 1463 meters above sea level, with an annual average temperature of 17 ℃ and an annual precipitation of 1950 mm. It is suitable for planting crops such as grain and tea. There are 23 households in the village, with a population of 94. Tea is the main source of income for the village. Luoshuidong（落水洞村） is a Yi village. The location of the sinkhole is between 22 '- 22'15 "n. All year round, it is warm and rainy, with deep soil layer, fertile land, good air permeability and high organic matter content.
