Nestled in Mashu Town, Qiaojia County, Mashu Village 巧家县马树镇马树村serves as the administrative and economic heart of the region. Located at the confluence of Zhaotong and Qujing cities and Qiaojia and Huize counties, this highland village lies at 1,300 meters above sea level, characterized by mountainous terrain, an average annual temperature of 11.5°C, and yearly precipitation around 550mm—ideal for cultivating corn, potatoes, and other staple crops.
