Qiaohou Mosque in Eryuan County, Dali

Qiaohou Mosque (乔后清真寺) is located in Qiaohou Township (乔后乡), Eryuan County (洱源县), Yunnan Province (云南省). It was built around the 11th year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1872). The mosque covers an area of 1 mu, and the main prayer hall is designed in the Xieshan (悬山) style with a construction area of 200 square meters.

Historical Background

Qiaohou Mosque was constructed around the 11th year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1872).

Architecture and Scale

The mosque occupies 1 mu of land. Its main prayer hall adopts the Xieshan (悬山) style with a total building area of 200 square meters. The main entrance features carved lattice doors with floral and bird motifs, showcasing smooth lines and exquisite craftsmanship.

Community and Collaboration

Currently, the mosque serves 14 Hui (回族) households, totaling 84 people.
