Historical Background
The exact founding date of the mosque is unknown. The Chen Family area is located on the western side of Huihuideng (回辉登), northwest of Shulong Village (树龙村). The village is named after the Chen family, who originally migrated from Shaanxi Province (陕西省). After several relocations, they settled in this scenic area surrounded by mountains and water.
The mosque was rebuilt in the 28th year of the Guangxu reign (1902) during the Qing Dynasty and has undergone several renovations since, with a major expansion in 1987.
Architectural Layout
The mosque complex occupies approximately 2 mu of land, with a total construction area of 760 square meters. The main prayer hall (广拜大殿) follows a single-eaved Xieshan (歇山) architectural style and covers 160 square meters. There are also two side rooms (厢房) on the premises.

The mosque serves 18 Hui (回族) households, totaling 109 people. All are members of the Gedimu (格迪目) sect. The mosque currently employs three ahong (阿訇, Islamic clergy).
