Established in 2007, Haba Snow Mountain Base Camp (哈巴雪山大本营) serves as the exclusive reception center for Haba Snow Mountain (哈巴雪山) climbers. All summit attempts must originate from this camp, with mandatory police registration. Recognized as China's premier five-star base camp by national mountaineering authorities, it offers:

Spanning 30 acres with 140-person capacity.

Location & Transportation

Situated at 4,100m elevation in southeastern Shangri-La City (香格里拉市), Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (迪庆藏族自治州), accessible via:

Travel from Lijiang (丽江) or Shangri-La (香格里拉) to Haba Village (哈巴村)
15km trek/horse ride to base camp

My recent experience with the Haba Snow Mountain Climbing Tour organized by Yaso Trip was absolutely unforgettable! Tour Highlights The trek up Haba Snow Mountain is challenging but incredibly rewarding. As someone who enjoys adventure and natural beauty, this tour gave me the perfect mix of physical challenge and awe-inspiring surroundings.
