Welcome to China’s first privately funded, privately curated museum dedicated to the history of the Anti-Japanese War — the Sino-Burmese War Museum (滇缅抗战博物馆).
Opened on July 7, 2005 — the anniversary of the “July 7 Incident” — the museum is located in Heshun Ancient Town (和顺古镇), Tengchong (腾冲).

The building itself was once the Headquarters of the Chinese Expeditionary Force’s 20th Army Group during the 1944 Battle to Liberate Tengchong. Inside, over 6,000 artifacts and 1,000 historical photos vividly recreate the fierce battlegrounds of Yunnan and Burma more than 60 years ago.
