Why is Tinghu Lake So Special?

Tinghu lake听湖 is 3.6 kilometers northeast of Yanshan county, with a storage capacity of 17.58 million cubic meters. The five isolated islands in the reservoir have their own characteristics. The lake is centered on the Shuangfeng island, which divides the 4900-meter-long reservoir area into two parts. The Shuangfeng island is 500 meters long and 250 meters wide, on the eastern side of the island, due to the change of topography, it looks like a huge mountain eagle swooping toward the water. There is a 700-meter long island called Shetou Island in the west of the lake, the part that stretches into the water is 250 meters wide, and the part near the shore is only 50 meters, resembling a sucking python. The other three islets with similar size are located on the east, west and north of the lake evenly, like three turtles floating on the water.

Yanshan County's Tinghu Lake Scenic Area "Gold Coast" integrates tourism, leisure, beach sports, catering and entertainment, especially the children's ecological park, the Spring Festival Lantern Show and other distinctive activities to meet the needs of urban people for entertainment, tourism, and fitness.
