Overview

Xinkekou Village is a lakeside tourist town on the north bank of Fuxian Lake. Here, you'll find expansive lakeside wetland scenery, characteristic boutique inns, and local specialty dining snacks. In the summer and autumn, visitors can swim, boat, and admire the lotus flowers. In the winter and spring, large flocks of seagulls come to winter, and there is a lakeside walkway for enjoying views of the lake. The lakeside park covers an area of 92 acres, with 63 acres of land, more than 30 acres of lawn, and a 15-acre sandy swimming area. The total building area exceeds 600 square meters. The lake embankment encloses three inner lakes and features a lotus pond, cherry blossom island, maple tree island, rockery, and pavilion. Speedboats and cruise boats are available for visitors, with boat trips leading directly to the Gushan Scenic Area via the Haimen Yudai River. There are over 100 sets of stone tables and benches for visitors to rest. In Xingyun Lake, a solitary island of nearly 2 acres has been created, providing a serene fishing spot as well as a place to enjoy the lake's scenery and mountains.

Within the park, winding paths laid with rocks, along with lush green hedges and flower trellises, connect yet separate areas like the bonsai garden, flower garden, stele pavilion, tea room, reading room, and children’s playground, creating a harmonious blend of openness and enclosure. More than 100 species of precious flowers, grasses, and trees are planted in the park, including Mexican cypress, dragon claw locust, cedar, maple, camphor tree, camellia, cherry blossom, dawn redwood, sweet osmanthus, southern magnolia, plane tree, and oleander, with various plant viewing points established according to the design plan.
