? Location

Xinjie Village (新街村) is located in the central area of Baxin Town (坝心镇), Shidian County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the town center. Situated at an altitude of 1,470 meters, the village enjoys a subtropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 20℃ and annual rainfall of 780 mm, ideal for cultivating rice, chili peppers, and other crops.

The village covers an area of 13.6 square kilometers, bordered by the core area of Baxin Town (坝心镇) to the east and Yilong Lake Wetland (异龙湖湿地) to the west, creating a scenic “mountain-lake-field” ecological layout.

This three-tiered Qing-style structure is celebrated as the “First Lock Gate of the Pearl River Source.” With exquisite architectural design and detailed carvings, it is part of Shidian County’s “Twelve Scenic Spots of Pingyang” (屏阳十二景) known as “Huilan Diecui” (洄澜叠翠).
