  • Yunnan is a place where landscapes change dramatically and cultures blend effortlessly. From mild spring weather to snow-capped mountains, from ancient towns to sacred temples, this 8-day journey takes us deep into the heart of Southwest China—comfortably, culturally, and halal-friendly.

Day 1 | Arrival in Kunming – A Gentle Beginning

Our journey begins in Kunming, known as the “City of Eternal Spring.” Upon arrival, we are welcomed by fresh highland air and a relaxed atmosphere. After a simple meal, we check into our hotel and rest, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2 | Discovering Muslim Heritage in Kunming

Today we explore the cultural side of Kunming through its Islamic heritage. Visits to Shuncheng Mosque and Nancheng Mosque offer insight into the long history of Muslim communities in Yunnan. Walking through the city center, we experience Kunming’s unique blend of modern life and cultural diversity.

Day 3 | High-Speed Train to Dali – Lakes, Light & Old Towns

A comfortable high-speed train takes us to Dali, with scenic views rolling by the window.
In the afternoon, we stop at the popular Santorini-style lakeside viewpoint, followed by a relaxing walk along the Erhai Lake Eco-Corridor, where blue skies, calm waters, and distant mountains create postcard-perfect scenery.
The day ends in Dali Ancient Town, where Bai-style architecture and a slow-paced lifestyle invite us to linger.

Day 4 | From Dali to Lijiang – Between Traditions

After visiting Dali Mosque, we head to Zhoucheng Village, famous for traditional Bai tie-dye craftsmanship.
Later, we arrive in Lijiang, and as night falls, Lijiang Ancient Town reveals its charm—stone streets, flowing canals, and soft lantern light set the mood for an unforgettable evening.

Day 5 | Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – The Highlight of Lijiang

Today is dedicated to one of Yunnan’s icons: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
A cable car ride takes us to Spruce Meadow, where snow peaks rise dramatically against the sky. We continue to the stunning Blue Moon Valley, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters.
In the afternoon, we watch Impression Lijiang, an open-air performance staged at the foot of the mountains. The day concludes with a peaceful visit to Baisha Ancient Town, quieter and more authentic than its famous neighbors.

Day 6 | Lijiang to Shangri-La – Entering Tibetan Lands

Driving north, we stop at the First Bend of the Yangtze River, where the mighty river curves through dramatic landscapes.
Next comes the breathtaking Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world, where roaring waters rush between towering cliffs.
By evening, we reach Shangri-La and stroll through Dukezong Ancient Town, where prayer wheels, stone paths, and highland air create a serene Tibetan atmosphere.

Day 7 | Pudacuo National Park & Return to Kunming

The morning is spent in Pudacuo National Park, a pristine natural reserve featuring alpine lakes, forests, grasslands, and wildlife—often considered the essence of Shangri-La.
In the late afternoon, we take a high-speed train back to Kunming, reflecting on the incredible landscapes and cultural encounters along the way.

Day 8 | Farewell to Yunnan

Before departure, we visit Luosiwan Market, one of Kunming’s largest wholesale markets, offering a glimpse into local daily life. Afterwards, we transfer to the airport, marking the end of a memorable journey through Yunnan.
