5. How to Get to Gucheng District?

Tourist can take the airplane or train to Lijiang airport or train station, then take the bus or taxi to Gucheng district. Also long-distance bus is available directly heading to Gucheng district.

Gucheng district is suitable for sightseeing all year round.

7. What to See

Two famous Dayan ancient town and Shuhe ancient town stand in the Gucheng District. Besides, Black Dragon Pool and Dongba Culture Museum inside are also worth visiting. If you are tired of these crowed place, set off to explore the traditional villages hiding in the tranquil countryside.

8. What to Pack

• The temperature difference is big between day and night, especially when it is rain. Tourists should take some thick and long sleeves with you to prevent getting cold.

• As Lijiang is located on plateau, the ultraviolet (uv) radiation is very strong that you should bring sunhat and sun scream with you.
