Shizong County City Tours

Shizong County (师宗县) travel packages combine karst valleys, waterfalls, highland forests, seasonal flower landscapes and the cultures of the Zhuang, Yi and Miao communities. Located in southeastern Qujing City (曲靖市), Shizong can be explored on a private two- or three-day tour or included in a longer journey connecting Kunming, Luoping and the destinations of eastern Yunnan. Tours can be arranged for nature lovers, photographers, families and overseas cultural groups.

A classic Shizong itinerary usually combines Phoenix Valley Scenic Area (凤凰谷景区) with Junzi Mountain (菌子山). Phoenix Valley is known for its deep karst canyon, caves, streams, waterfalls and unusual rock formations, while Junzi Mountain features highland meadows, forests and extensive rhododendron landscapes. Spring is ideal for flower photography, summer brings green mountain scenery and flowing waterfalls, and autumn offers comfortable conditions for walking and countryside exploration.

Longer cultural packages can continue to Wulong Zhuang Ethnic Township (五龙壮族乡), where river valleys, waterfalls, terraced fields and traditional villages reflect the county’s ethnic diversity. Visitors may experience Zhuang songs and dances, local markets, village food and seasonal festivals while learning about everyday rural life. Yaso Trip can customize Shizong tours with a private vehicle, local guide, accommodation and onward connections to Luoping County (罗平县), Luliang, Qiubei and Kunming.
