2.Yuanjiang Dressing Tips

March - June, September - November: People can dress some thin clothes and take some coats or jackets for different changes between morning and night.

July - August: People should dress some cool clothes for it is so hot and someone could take some raincoats and Rash Guards.

December - February: When it comes to Winter, people do not need to take some thick clothes. The climate in Yuanjiang is hot, and the temperature in winter is often above 20 degrees.

3.The Best Time to Visit Yuanjiang

The climate in Yuanjiang is hot, and the temperature in winter is often above 20 degrees. When traveling to Yuanjiang, the clothes should be cool. Summer is the best season to visit here, but the sunshine is strong, you’d better take some sun cream and a umbrella. Be careful not to park on the world's first high bridge to avoid being punished.

1.Avoiding crossing the fireplace. The Yi ethnic minority regard fire as the most important thing in their lives.

2.Do not eat dog, kill dog and beat dog. This is forbidden by the Mao ethnic minority.

6.Yuanjiang Transportation

The transportation of Yuanjiang is relatively developed compared to other cities in Yunnan. You can get there by different ways. There are planes, long-distance buses, trains, taxis, buses and minibus for people to get out and around. The annual transport capacity of passengers and freight reached 1.2 million and 8.5 million respectively. The post and telecom industry took a step forward. You can choose minibus or long-distance bus to go to Hongta District in Yuxi, and buses depart to Kunming everyday. In addition, the railway connect Yuanjiang and Kunming is under construction.
