Zhaotong Airport（昭通机场） is the closest airport to Ludian County, located approximately 22–26 kilometers from the county center, with a driving time of about 35–45 minutes. International travelers usually transfer through Kunming Changshui International Airport（昆明长水国际机场） before continuing to Zhaotong.
