Northeast Yunnan Tours

Northeast Yunnan, including Zhaotong, Qujing, and parts of Kunming, is a historically significant region and a vital gateway between Yunnan and Guizhou. Known as the "Key to Yunnan and Guizhou," it plays a central role in the Ancient Tea Horse Road and is crucial for connecting the region to the Yangtze River Economic Belt and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. The region is renowned for its diverse landscapes and unique natural wonders. Ma Xiong Mountain in Qujing, with its rare "One Water Drops Three Rivers" phenomenon, is a key geographical site. The Dashanbao Black-necked Crane Nature Reserve, Jigong Mountain, and Tongluoba National Forest Park offer excellent opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife photography. Zhenxiong County in Zhaotong is also notable for its paleontological significance, particularly for the discovery of ancient trilobite fossils.
