• Visit Manghuang Village (芒晃村):
  Located just outside the city, Manghuang Village is a typical Dai (傣族) ethnic village. Explore the charming village with its traditional architecture, agricultural practices, and unique ethnic customs. You will have the chance to sample Dai traditional dishes, such as grilled fish and spicy rice.

Midday: Peacock Feast & Green Leaf Feast

• Peacock Feast (孔雀宴):
  Experience the Peacock Feast, a grand representative banquet of Dehong cuisine, known for its intricate preparation methods and local ingredients. This feast showcases a variety of dishes, from roasted meats to traditional vegetable delicacies, all prepared using techniques passed down through generations. • Hougu Coffee Experience:
  Head to Hougu Coffee Town (后谷咖啡小镇), a famous coffee region in Mangshi. Here, you’ll visit the Hougu Coffee Museum and coffee plantation, where you can learn about the local coffee production process, from planting to roasting. Experience the unique flavors of Dehong small-bean coffee, known for its smooth texture and rich aroma. Don’t forget to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee brewed with beans directly from the plantation.

• Explore Mangliang Village (芒良村):
  Continue your journey to Mangliang Village, a traditional Jingpo village that is home to vibrant ethnic culture. Here, you'll visit the Jingpo Ethnology Museum and the Jingpo Cultural Square, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the Jingpo (景颇族) heritage and their annual festivals.
