2 Days Kunming-Eshan Tea Tour to Gaoxiang Yuncha Organic Tea Plantations

Early in the morning, we arrived at Xie'e Ancient Town (嶍峨古镇). The town's architecture is charmingly ancient, and the cobblestone streets bear the marks of time. Walking through these historic streets felt like stepping back into the past, with each step revealing traces of history.

?️ Lunchtime calls for local delicacies! We enjoyed dishes like stir-fried beef with melon vines and celery with beef, both bursting with flavor and unforgettable in taste!
? In the afternoon, we visited a tea house in the ancient town, where we relaxed and sipped on local tea. In that moment, all the stresses of life melted away, leaving only peace and tranquility.
? As evening fell, we took a leisurely stroll through Linjiang Park (临江公园), enjoying the beautiful scenery under the blue sky and white clouds, and soaking in the serenity of nature.

We drove towards Gaoxiang Yuncha Organic Tea Plantations (云茶山庄), a place surrounded by vast tea fields. Here, we had the opportunity to pick tea leaves and experience the tea-making process. Under the guidance of a tea master, I personally picked tea leaves and learned how to process them. The feeling of sipping the tea I made myself was incredibly rewarding and beyond words!
? Next, we headed to Gasa (戛洒). The first thing we saw was the Nan'en Waterfall (南恩瀑布), whose grandeur was truly awe-inspiring! The crystal-clear water cascaded down the mountainside, with the splashing water seeming to dance in the air.
? We then ventured into the Jinshan Primitive Forest (金山原始森林). Walking along the lush trails and breathing in the fresh air, I felt as though I had become one with nature.
? In the evening, we indulged in Gasa's local delicacies, including beef soup hotpot and stir-fried wild orchid flowers, which were both visually appealing and delicious. These dishes greatly enhanced our appetite!
