Dali Stone Mountain Golf Club is nestled at the foot of the Cangshan Mountain, standing at an altitude of around 2,000 meters above sea level, with the towering peaks of Cangshan Mountain rising to 4,122 meters. The course, designed by renowned golfer Nick Faldo in 1995, opened in October 2005. It is the only golf course in Dali and is just minutes from the ancient city of Dali and Erhai Lake. It has become a popular destination for both local golfers and visitors from Kunming, being only a 30-minute drive from Dali International Airport. The stunning mountain views, clear alpine lakes, and proximity to historical sites like the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple make this course one of the most scenic in the region.

The Dali Stone Mountain Golf Club features two 18-hole courses, offering both challenging holes for experienced golfers and easier ones for beginners. The course is set amidst Dali’s iconic Three Pagodas, the Cangshan Mountain, and Erhai Lake, providing golfers with a breathtaking natural backdrop. The course design ensures a memorable golfing experience with a twin-layered lighting driving range that accommodates over 50 positions, allowing players to practice with a driving distance of 300 yards. After a round of golf, players can explore Dali’s historic streets filled with cafes, restaurants, shops, and bars.
