How’s Weather in Kunming in October?
Kunming has a pleasant spring-like climate, with no intense heat in summer and no severe cold in the winter, with a typical temperate climate characteristics. How to Get to Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center from Kunming Airport?
Upon arrival at the airport, taxi is the most convenient way going to downtown area from the airport. In daytime, the starting fare is CNY 8 for the first 3 km and CNY 1.8 per km for the rest of the journey. At night (22:00-06:00 next day), it is CNY 9.6 for the first 3 km and CNY 2.1 per km for the rest. It takes about 1 hour from Changshui Airport to Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center at the cost of around CNY 100. If you want to take the subway/bus, you should take subway 6 from the airport, then transfer to subway 3, then subway 2 and subway 1, or take No.919 bus C1 line and then transfer to Bus K15/207.

How to Get Shilin from Kunming?
There are daily trains from Kunming railway station and Kunming south railway station to Shilin west railway station. Or you can also take regular buses to Shilin County from Kunming East Bus Station.

What Delicacies Are There in Kunming?
Yunnan cuisine tastes similar to Sichuan food, with a strong emphasis on sour and hot dishes. Most notably, Yunnan people especially like to eat potatoes and fungi. Yunnan rice noodles and wild mushroom are two things you can not miss when you are in Kunming.
