Itinerary

Day 1: Kunming Assembly

After flying from Singapore to Kunming Changshui International Airport, our staff will meet you with a pick – up sign and escort you to your vehicle. The 11 – person group will be taken from the airport to Hilton Garden Inn Kunming for check – in. In the afternoon, you can stroll around the hotel, sample local delicacies such as Kunming’s Over – the – Bridge Rice Noodles (昆明过桥米线) and Steam – Pot Chicken (昆明汽锅鸡), and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of the Spring City. In the evening, rest at the hotel to adjust to the time difference and recharge for the upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Kunming – Dali

Your team will head to Kunming’s vehicle management office to obtain temporary driving permits and then have lunch in Kunming, trying local specialties like wild mushroom hotpot. In the afternoon, drive to Dali (大理), taking in the scenic views along the way and making pit – stops to capture memories. Upon arrival in Dali, check into Manxin Hotel Dali. Explore the hotel’s surroundings, enjoy the night scene of Dali, and take an evening walk by Erhai Lake (洱海) to admire its nocturnal beauty.

Day 3: Dali – Lijiang

After breakfast, visit Xiuzhou Ancient Town (喜洲古镇) to see traditional Bai – style architecture like the Yan Family Courtyard and experience the local culture and laid – back lifestyle. Next, go to Zhoucheng (周城), a famous Bai minority tie – dye town where you can watch the tie – dye process and buy unique items. Then, head to Shuanglang Ancient Town (双廊古镇), where you’ll enjoy the lake and mountain views of Erhai Lake and have lunch with local flavors such as Bai – style sour and spicy fish and cool chicken rice noodles. In the afternoon, drive along Erhai Lake, savoring its tranquility and beauty. Stop at Longkan Dock (龙龛码头) to see seagulls, visit Nanzhao Fengqing Island (南诏风情岛) to learn about the Nanzhao culture, and ride e – bikes around the island. Later, drive to Haidong and visit Black dragon pool (黑龙潭公园) to catch a glimpse of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Arrive in Lijiang (丽江) and explore Lijiang Ancient Town, immersing yourself in its charm. In the evening, have dinner at Lijiang Jinmao Yinyi Hotel, relish salmon and other dishes, and then either rest at the hotel or take a stroll nearby. Take in the night views of Lijiang Ancient Town, visit the bar street, and experience Lijiang’s nightlife.

Day 4: Free Day in Lijiang

After breakfast, drive to Pearl Lake (珍珠湖) and delight in its scenic beauty and natural peace.

Then, head to Baisha Ancient Town (白沙古镇), don ethnic costumes, and stroll through the town to experience the local folk culture. Later, a coach will take you back to Lijiang Ancient Town to try local snacks like Lijiang Baba (a type of pancake) and chicken bean jelly. In the evening, enjoy local specialties such as Over – the – Bridge Rice Noodles (昆明过桥米线) in the ancient town. After dinner, a coach will take you back to the hotel.

Day 5: Lijiang – Shangri – La

After breakfast, set off for Shangri – La (香格里拉). Along the way, visit Upper, Middle, and Lower Tiger Leaping Gorge (上中下虎跳峡).

Take a boat tour to admire the magnificent gorge up close. Upon arrival in Haba Village (哈巴村), rest briefly and explore the village’s natural beauty and folk culture. Continue to Shangri – La and tour Dukezong Ancient Town (独克宗古城), appreciating its ancient architecture and unique Tibetan culture.

Sample local foods like Barley Wine (青稞酒) and Zanba (糌粑). In the evening, check into Hilton Garden Inn Shangri – La, have dinner at the hotel restaurant, and enjoy the local night views.

Day 6: Shangri – La – Feilaisi

After breakfast, head to Songzanlin Viewpoint (松赞林观景台) for a panoramic view of Songzanlin Monastery (松赞林寺), known as the “Tibetan Potala Palace.”

Next, visit the Jinshawan Viewpoint (金沙湾观景台) to witness the spectacular “Three Parallel Rivers” landscape of the Jinsha, Lancang, and Nujiang Rivers.

Arrive at Feilaisi’s Zichen Boyue Hotel, rest for a while, and then join the hotel’s star – viewing dinner. Dine under the starry sky and enjoy performances arranged by the hotel.

Day 7: Feilaisi – Gongshan

Rise early to catch the Meili Snow Mountain (梅里雪山) sunrise. The golden sunlight on the snow – capped peaks creates a magical “Golden Summit” view. Then, visit the Lancang River Meili Grand Canyon (澜沧江梅里大峡谷) and Mingyong Glacier (明永冰川).

In the afternoon, explore Cizhong Village (茨中村) and Cizhong Church (茨中教堂), a unique place where multiple ethnic groups like Han, Tibetan, Naxi, and Bai blend their cultures with Catholicism.

Continue to Biluo Snow Mountain (碧罗雪山) and the Nujiang River First Bay (怒江第一湾), marveling at the river’s “Ω” – shaped curve and nature’s power. Finally, arrive in Gongshan (贡山). In the evening, check into Lamiray Hotel in Gongshan and enjoy local specialties at the hotel restaurant.

Day 8: Gongshan – Luikou

After breakfast, drive from Gongshan (贡山) to Qina Tong (秋那桶). Admire the pristine and ancient landscapes along the way, offering a sense of seclusion. Arrive in Wulixi Village (雾里村) and choose to hike or ride a horse. Take in the views of the Nujiang River gorge, terraced fields, and Tibetan – style residences. Then, head to the Tibet – Yunnan border (滇藏边境) to see the Nujiang River First Bay (怒江第一湾) again. Visit Laimeng Deng Church (老姆登教堂) and experience the Nujiang River Cableway (怒江溜索). Finally, reach Liukou (六库). In the evening, check into Denggeng Hot Spring Mountain Hotel. Unwind in the hotel’s hot springs, easing the day’s fatigue.

Day 9: Luikou

After breakfast, visit Bai – Niao Valley (百鸟谷) for bird – watching and enjoy the diverse rare bird species and natural vitality. Then, take a 3 – kilometer hike to ,appreciate the Natural scenery along the way , such as green mountains, clear waters, and unique rock formations. Visit a Lisu ethnic village (傈僳族村子), listen to the four – part harmonies, and immerse yourself in the local folk culture. Interact with villagers to learn about their lifestyle and traditions. In the evening, enjoy a white buffet dinner at the hotel and watch local folk performances.

Day 10:Luikou – Dali

After breakfast, drive to Dali (大理), taking in the beautiful scenes of Baoshan (保山) along the way, such as the volcanic hot springs at Rehai Hot Springs (热海大滚锅),

rolling cauldrons, and geyser springs. Upon arrival in Dali, visit the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple (大理三塔) and Dali Ancient Town (大理古城), admiring the ancient pagodas and immersing yourself in the historical and cultural atmosphere of the ancient town. Shop for souvenirs like tie – dyed products and marble handicrafts in the old town. Day 11:Dali – Kunming

After breakfast, drive back to Kunming. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views. Stop in Nanhua County for a wild mushroom hotpot. Upon arrival in Kunming, those who enjoy driving can take a leisurely drive around Dianchi Lake. The lake at sunset is picturesque with rippling waters and a backdrop of wetland parks. Others can choose to visit Wanda Plaza or Ai – Qin Hai for shopping and buy Yunnan – themed souvenirs like Pu – er tea and flower – cake. Day 12: Kunming Departure
