It was expanded in November 1991 and resumed navigation in February 1994. It is a “civilized airport” in the southwestern region and a navigation city in Kunming. The airport covers an area of 1957 acres, with a flight zone rating of 4C, a runway length of 2,720 meters and a width of 48 meters, which can be used for Boeing 737 and below. The apron area is 6,600 square meters, with 2 parking spaces and an area of 1900 square meters.
