It is located in a mountainous area to the north of Ameng Town (阿猛镇), about 7 kilometers from the village committee and 8 kilometers from the town center.
Ameng Town (阿猛镇) lies in the northeastern part of Yanshan County (砚山县), bordering Wuzhu Township (伍珠乡), Zhulin Town (珠琳镇), and Nasa Town (那洒镇) of Guangnan County (广南县) to the east, and adjoining Bange Township (蚌峨乡), Zhela Township (者腊乡), Ganhe Township (干河乡), and Weimo Township (维摩乡) to the southwest. To the north, it neighbors Tianxing Township (天星乡) of Qiubei County (丘北县).
Ameng Town (阿猛镇) boasts a long history. During the Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong period, it was under the jurisdiction of Baoning County (宝宁县) of Guangnan (广南). During the Republic of China period, it was called Haiyan Town (海晏镇). After several administrative changes, it was officially established as a town in 1988.
The names "Luojihei" (倮基黑) and "Heisuoshuitou" (黑所水头) are derived from the Yi language, where "Luojü" (倮居) means "Yi people" and "Hei" (黑) means "dwelling," indicating this is a place where the Yi ethnic group lives.
