On November 28, 2012, Henglong Group began construction of Kunming Henglong Plaza on Dongfeng Road in Panlong District (盘龙区), Kunming. The project covers about 56,000 m² and has a total floor area of 434,000 m². The plaza includes 160,000 m² of retail space, 180,000 m² of office buildings, and 100,000 m² of serviced apartments.

The office tower in the development is expected to reach a height of over 300 meters, becoming one of Kunming’s tallest buildings and a prominent landmark in the city. Once completed, it will be a flagship urban complex combining world-class shopping, Grade A office spaces, and serviced apartments. The total construction area will be 434,000 m². The project is expected to be completed in stages, starting from 2019.
