The display featured pure seed potatoes, sweet honey apples, organic red rice, high-quality Aconitum, green prickly ash, highland chickens, and the tastiest indigenous black-headed goats, painting a vivid picture of agricultural development, rural harmony, and farmers’ happiness.

In the joy of the harvest, awards were presented to the “Top Five” enterprises and cooperatives, the “Top Ten” potato growers (master growers), the “Top Ten” apple growers (master growers), and the specialized potato villages under the “One Village, One Product” initiative. These awards aimed to encourage more enterprises and cooperatives to participate in the vibrant development of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation,” injecting strong “Three Rural” momentum into Ninglang’s high-quality new development and creating a new era of high-quality agricultural growth.

Highland Specialty Agricultural Products Exhibition:

Over twenty enterprises and cooperatives participated in the Ninglang Highland Specialty Agricultural Products Exhibition, showcasing a wide variety of unique products. These included potatoes, honey apples, honey, medicinal herbs, highland black-headed goat meat, ham, and peppers, as well as processed products like lip balm and essential oils made from green prickly ash. Unique Yi lacquerware, Yi clothing, and Pumi clothing were also popular among attendees.

At the event, Yi artisans demonstrated the creation of lacquerware, showcasing the intricate and rich designs that embody their cultural heritage.

The representative of Lijiang Yingmao Seed Industry Co., Ltd. expressed, “I am honored to be invited to participate in this exhibition. I hope to set an example and encourage more enterprises and people to get involved in the development of Ninglang’s agricultural products.”

On the morning of October 10, the 2022 Ninglang County “Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival” series of activities, themed “Gratitude to the Party, Celebrate the Harvest, Welcome the 20th Party Congress,” was grandly opened at Wange Square. County Party Secretary Zhang Wei attended the opening ceremony and announced the commencement, while Deputy Secretary and County Mayor Li Jianyong delivered a speech.

At 10 a.m., Wange Square was bustling with activity, filled with the fragrance of fruits. The opening ceremony of the 2022 Ninglang County “Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival” was held grandly here.

Awards and Recognitions:

The opening event recognized the “Top Five” potato enterprises and cooperatives, the “Top Ten” potato growers, the specialized potato villages under the “One Village, One Product” initiative, and the “Top Ten” apple growers. Zhang Wei, Li Jianyong, and other leaders presented certificates to the award-winning enterprises and individuals. Some enterprise representatives gave speeches on “Gratitude to the Party, Listen to the Party, Follow the Party,” while financial institution representatives introduced policies supporting rural revitalization.
