Suijiang County Culture
There are 17 different ethnic groups in Suijiang county, among them, Yi and Miao are the main groups. Except Luoping village, Tuanjie village and Shaoting village, these minority people also scatter in other places of the county.
Traditional ethnic vilage
There are one traditional ethnic village, which is Nanan Village of Nanan Town.
Festival
1.Torch Festival
Every lunar year, on June 24th, the Yi ethnic minority celebrate their national festival—the Torch Festival.
2.Dancing Flower Festival
During the festival, the Miao ethnic minority dressed up to gather in the traditional dancing ground. Young men and women danced in the center of the flower poles.
