2.Water Transportation
Suijiang county lies on the bank of Jinsha river, therefore, towns near the river and the county seat have their own dock. If you want to go to Sichuan province, the passenger ship is a good choice, it takes you only a few minutes to boat from the dock to Pingshan county(屏山县) in Sichuan province. In addition, cargo ship plays a vital role in transporting cargo like coal and metal.

In the county seat, there are buses on the main street, it is very convenient , because the urban area is not very big. Taxi is also a reliable mean, the starting fare is 5 Yuan, you may wait a taxi on the road side.
