China-Laos Bullet Train Schedules and Timetables by Train D887 / D888

At present, the train cannot go straight into Laos directly, so travellers need to go through customs from Mohan to enter Boten, Laos, and then go to Boten railway station to buy train tickets, which can also be bought through the hotel or travel agencies. If direct train is not available, there are also transfer schemes. You can depart from Kunming to Mohan Station. However, from Mohan to Boten, there is only one train, which is D887. You can choose to drive from Mohan to Boten, then change to take the train from Boten to Vientiane.
