Panlong District (Chinese: 盘龙区) is a district under the jurisdiction of Kunming, Yunnan. Panlong district takes its name from the Panlong River, passing through from north to south. It had a population of 810,000 in 2010 and an area of 887 square kilometers. The annual average temperature is 14.9 C and the annual average precipitation is 1,001 mm.
