It’s an easy cycling tour from Lijiang Ancient Town to Lashihai Lake. Along the way, you will pass through ethnic villages, grasslands, meadows, flowers sea, rivers and lakes. Cycling around the beautiful Lashihai Lake with the distance view of white towering peaks of Jade Dragon Snow mountain. Pay a visit to the first lamasery temple among five main Tibetan Buddhism monasteries situating in Lijiang-Zhiyun Temple.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Lijiang-Lashi Basin-Lijiang
Sightseeing and Activities:Lashihai Lake, Zhiyun Temple
Accommodation: None
Meals: Lunch
After breakfast, drive to pick your bicycle. Start cycling from Lijiang Ancient Town. Ride 8KM to the beautiful Lashi Lake (New Basin), a nature reserve rich in biodiversity. The endangered black necked crane can be seen here. The Naxi and Yi minorities live in this area. We loop around the lake beginning on paved road which leads us through Naxi villages. The terrain becomes rougher as we loop back. Joining a bigger road, we continue on uphill towards a 2,900m pass through a scenery of fields and pine forest with the white towering peaks of Jade Dragon Snow mountain coming into view.
Also pay a visit to Zhiyun Temple. Zhiyun Temple situated by Lashihai Lake is regarded as one of the five temples in the city of Lijiang. It is a famous tourism spot of Tibetan Lamaism.
After that, ride back to Lijiang Ancient Town in the late afternoon, service ends.
