• Ascending to the Base Camp

• Base Camp Arrivals and Altitude Considerations
  • Note that the base camp’s altitude may vary depending on the source, but the past experience suggests it’s around 4,100 meters.

• Acclimatization and Altitude Adjustments

  • Due to the high elevation, it’s essential to know how to adapt to the conditions and adjust your body accordingly.

• Note: It is not allowed to sleep before 9:00 PM.Overnight at the Base Camp or in the wooden hut(beds and quilts are available in the wooden hut).

Day 2 Base Camp-the Summit-Base Camp-Haba Village

Sightseeing and Activities:the Base Camp at the 4200m – the Camp 1 at 4800 of Haba Snow Mountain – the top of Haba Snow Mountain (5396M) – the Base Camp (4200M)

• Early Morning Preparation
  • Wake up at 3:00 AM, and get ready for a day of adventure. Enjoy a simple breakfast to fuel up for the climb ahead.
  • Before departing for the summit at 4:00 AM, take a moment to assess your physical condition and make sure you’re prepared for the challenge.
• Ascent to the Summit of Haba Mountain
  • Pack only the essential items you’ll need for the climb, including your mountaineering tools like ropes, ice axes, ice picks, backpacks, food, warm water, clothing, headlamps, and climbing gear.
  • Leave most of your luggage at Camp 1 and begin your ascent to the summit of Haba Snow Mountain at an altitude of 5,396 meters.
  • The journey will take approximately 5 hours, with the trail consisting of icy and snowy terrain from Camp 1 to the summit.
  • The initial 500-meter elevation gain will take around 3 hours to complete. Take in the breathtaking views of Haba Snow Mountain, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the Yangtze River as you ascend.
• Summit Picnic and Descent
  • After enjoying a picnic lunch at the summit, begin your descent back down to Camp 1 to collect your luggage.
  • Then, continue trekking down to the Base Camp, taking in the stunning scenery one last time before wrapping up an unforgettable adventure.

• Trek down from Base Camp to Haba Village, with yaks or horse taking your luggage. After dinner in Haba Village, drive back to Lijiang.
