The Jinlong Bridge (金龙桥) within the village has a history of over 140 years and is the oldest existing chain bridge in the Yangtze River basin. It was listed in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection list in 2006. The bridge was privately funded by Jiang Zonghan, the then – Guizhou Commander – in – Chief of the Qing Dynasty, with a donation of 100,000 taels of silver. It took five years to build and was completed in the sixth year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1880). The main structure of the bridge consists of 16 large iron chains suspended on both banks, with 14 chains serving as the load – bearing bottom chains. Horizontal and vertical layers of wooden boards are laid on top, and two additional iron chains act as railings on either side. Each iron chain is made up of about 500 interconnected iron rings. The total length of the bridge is 116 meters, with a clear span of 90 meters and a bridge width of 3 meters.
