Kunming City Centre - Chenggong District Transportation: By Subway, Bus & Taxi

Chenggong District, which belongs to Kunming city of Yunnan Province, is a resident of Kunming Municipal People’s government. It is about 23.5 km from Kunming city centre to Chenggong district. A subway line connects Chenggong to the city centre opened in 2013. Bus and taxi are also available.

How to get to Chenggong District from Kunming City Centre?

By Subway

Extending in the north-south direction, Kunming Subway Line 1 connects South Ring Road(环城南路) with University Town South(大学城南) and South Railway Station(昆明南火车站). Passengers can easily arrive at South Railway Station by taking subway line 1. This part is linked with Kunming metro line 2 at South Ring Road Station. The present combined route of line 1 and line 2 runs for around 75 minutes. The main stops include South Ring Road, Railway Station, Fude, Rixin Road, Wujiaba, Changhong West Road, Xiaodong Village, Erji Road, Xingyao Road, New Asia Athletics Park, South Coach Station, Dounan, Chunrong Street, Tuofeng Street, Lianda Street, Yikang South Road, University Town, University Town South. If your destination is Kunming South Railway Station, take the branch from Chunrong Street to Kunming South Railway Station via Municipal Administration Center, Yihe Road, Bailongtan.
