    Being around 50 kilometers from the Li’jiang City (Gu’cheng District)（丽江-古城区）, He'qing County（鹤庆县）is known for its water scenery, as well as its marvelous local wine. It is also one of the most famous scenic areas in Yunnan, which can be easily reached by coach and train.

    How to Get to Heqing Old Town from Lijiang City (Gucheng District)

    1. By Long-Distance Coach

    Please be noted that you will still need to transfer to He'qing County（鹤庆县） after you have arrived at Dali Ancient Town（大理古城）.

    However, it is absolutely important for you to reach a deal with the coach or taxi driver before departure.

    Everyday, there will be about 33 coaches departing from Lijiang Ancient Town（丽江古城）, and Lijiang Sanyi Airport （丽江三义机场）. The schedule is listed as follows:

    This ancient town is easily accessible by multiple city bus routes, including Nos. 2, 3, 4, 7, 10 (Routes A and B), 11, 14, 16, 18, 19, 22, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, and 15 (Routes A and B). A taxi ride from the downtown area takes approximately 10 minutes, with fares comparable to those on ride-hailing apps like Didi.

    Qi’he Town, Gu’cheng District, Li’jiang City, Yunnan Province
    This airport is accessible via City Bus No. 27 and the Airport Express. A taxi ride from downtown takes approximately 35 minutes, with fares comparable to those on ride-hailing apps like Didi. For your reference, the Airport Express departs from Domestic Arrivals (Gate 3) and terminates at Minhang Lantian Hotel in the downtown area.

    2. By Regular-Speed Train

    Everyday, there will be about 1 train departing from Lijiang Railway Station（丽江火车站）, and the schedule is listed as follows:

    Shang’ji Road, Nan’kou Industrial Park, Huang’shan Town, Yu’long County, Li’jiang City, Yunnan Province
    This railway station is accessible by taking City Bus No. 4, 16, or 18. A taxi ride from the downtown area takes approximately 15 minutes, with fares comparable to those on ride-hailing apps like Didi.
