Zhongying Lisu and Yi Ethnic Township (钟英傈僳族彝族乡) is under the jurisdiction of Binchuan County (宾川县), Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture (大理白族自治州), Yunnan Province (云南省). It is located in the northeastern part of Binchuan County, on the south bank of the Jinsha River (金沙江). To the east, across the Yupao River (渔泡江), it faces Tiesuo Township (铁锁乡) of Dayao County (大姚县), Chuxiong Prefecture (楚雄州). To the south, it borders Pingchuan Town (平川镇); to the west, it adjoins Pianjiao Township (片角乡) of Yongsheng County (永胜县), Lijiang City (丽江市); and to the north, across the Jinsha River (金沙江), it corresponds with Dongfeng Township (东风乡) of Yongsheng County (永胜县), Lijiang City (丽江市). The administrative area covers 292 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population was 8,802.

Before the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the area was known as Zhongying Township (钟英乡). In January 1988, the district was abolished and reorganized as Zhongying Lisu and Yi Ethnic Township (钟英傈僳族彝族乡). As of October 2021, it governs 6 administrative villages, with the township government located in Pichang Street (皮厂街).
