How to Get to Binchuan County from Yongsheng County
Being around 230 kilometers from the Li’jiang City (Gu’cheng District)（丽江-古城区）, Bin’chuan County（宾川县）is known for its marvelous Ji’zu Mountain（鸡足山）. It is also one of the most famous scenic areas in Yunnan, which can be easily reached by coach, train, and plane.
How to Get to Binchuan County from Lijiang City (Gucheng District)
1. By Long-Distance Coach
Everyday, there will be about 2 coaches departing from Lijiang Coach Terminal（丽江客运站）at 10:40, 15:20, and the ticket price is CNY 91. The journey takes around 4 hours.

This coach terminal can be reached by taking City Bus No.16 (CNY 1-5), and the taxi fare from downtown area is around CNY 8 (according to the Chinese Uber, Didi). The expected time of arrival will be around 10 mins.
2. By Regular-Speed Train
Please be noted that you will still need to transfer to Bin’chuan County（宾川县） after you have arrived at Dali Railway Station（大理火车站）.
Everyday, there will be about 2 trains departing from Lijiang Railway Station（丽江火车站）, and the schedule is listed as follows:

This railway station can be reached by taking City Bus No.4, No. 16, No.18 (CNY 1-5) and the taxi fare from downtown area is around CNY 19 (according to the Chinese Uber, Didi). The expected time of arrival will be around 15 mins.
3. By Plane
Please be noted that you will still need to transfer to Bin’chuan County（宾川县） after you have arrived at Dali Airport（大理机场）.
However, it is absolutely important for you to reach a deal with the coach or taxi driver before departure.
Everyday, there will be about 5 flights departing from Lijiang San’yi Airport（丽江三义机场）to Dali Airport（大理机场）, and the schedule is listed as follows:

Still, as this transportation method is much more time-consuming (longer transfer time may apply) and much more expensive, we recommended you to take the coach or train instead if you are not in a hurry.

This airport can be reached by taking City Bus No. 27 (CNY 3) and Airport Express (CNY 20), and the taxi fare from downtown area is around CNY 82 (according to the Chinese Uber, Didi). The expected time of arrival will be around 35 mins. For your information, the Airport Express departs from Domestic Arrivals (Gate 3), and terminates at Min’hang Lan’tian Hotel (downtown).

Benzilan refers to “beautiful sand dam” in Tibetan. Located in Deqin County at the foot of Baimang Snow Mountain, Benzilan is the only way to “the Ancient Tea Horse Road”. It is about 90km from Deqin County which can only be accessible by bus and chartered car.

All of the long-distance buses from Shangri-La to Deqin County pass through Benzilan town and tourists can get off halfway. In fact the mid-point lunch stop is often taken a mere five minutes south of Benzilan.

If you want to enjoy the scenery in Jinsha River. You can drive to Ahai Wharf(阿海码头), then transfer to Baoshan Stone Town Wharf by boat(宝山石头城码头). Because Stone Town is on the precipice on the Jinsha River. After getting the Baoshan Stone Wharf, you need to climb to the top of the Baoshan Stone Town.
By Hiking
Lugu Lake to Baoshan Stone Town has a famous hiking route. The route is like this : Lugu Lake – Yongning(永宁) – Lashike Pass(拉市科垭口) – Gewa(格瓦) – Labo(拉伯) – Crossing the Jinsha River – Fengke(奉科) – Taiziguan(太子关) – Baoshan Stone Town. It might takes about 3-4 days.

1.By Bus
Qiaotou-Shangrila
Near the ticket hall of Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area at Qiaotou Town, there are regular buses coming from Lijiang, Dali or Kunming and you can take the bus back to Shangrila. The latest bus from Lijiang is at 17:10 pm.
Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge-Shangrila(Tourist buses)
At around 15:00 pm, the tourist bus will depart from Tina’s House heading to Shangrila. Plan your journey well in advance.
2.By Car-Rental
