How to Get to Yulong County from Kunming
Being around 10 kilometers from the Lijiang City (Gucheng District) （丽江-古城区）, Yulong County（玉龙县）is known for its marvelous mountain and waters. It is also one of the most famous scenic regions in Yunnan, which can be easily reached by city bus and taxi.
How to Get to Yulong County from Lijiang City (Gucheng District)
1. By City Bus
As the distance between Yulong County（玉龙县）and Lijiang City (Gucheng District) （丽江-古城区）is relatively short, the most economy transportation method will be taking City Bus No. 4 and No. 16 (CNY 1-5 depending on different departure station).
2. By Taxi
According to the Chinese Uber, Didi, the taxi fare between these two locations will be around CNY 28, and the expected time of arrival will be approximately 28 mins.

1. By City Bus
As the distance between Yuhu Village（玉湖村） and Lijiang City (Gucheng District) （丽江-古城区）is relatively short, the most economy transportation method will be taking City Bus No. 17 [less walking] and No. 6 [4 kilometers of walking required] (CNY 1-5 depending on different departure station).

How to Get to Yuhu Village from Baisha Old Town

Yubeng Village is known for the beautiful valley it lies in and beautiful day treks which depart from it. Under the extraordinary craftsman by nature, it is called the miniature version of the real Shangri-La. One can only get there by trekking or mule-riding for 18 kilometers, and crossing over a pass of 3700 m. It’s about 850 kilometers away from the provincial capital Kunming.
How to Get to Yubeng Village from Kunming?
By Air
If you want to save time, you can take the flight from Kunming to Shangrila and then transfer to Yubeng village. There are four buses departing from Shangri-la Bus Station(香格里拉汽车客运站) to Deqin at 08:20, 09:20, 10:30, 12:00 every day. After Deqin arrival, take another 1.5 hours’ ride or rent a minivan to Xidang Village. There are only two buses departing at 07:00 and 15:00.
Around 5.4 km from the city center, Diqing Airport is the largest airport in the east Tibetan area. Direct flights to/from several domestic cities are available, including Kunming, Chengdu, Lhasa, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Beijing and Shanghai. As it is close to the downtown area, tourists usually take a taxi to the airport.
By Coach
Take the only long-distance bus that departs at 19:00 every day from Kunming West Bus Station(昆明西部客运站) to Deqin Bus Station(德钦客运站). The journey takes around 24 hours and the fare is CNY 284. After arriving in Deqin County, you can take a bus to the Xidang Village that leaves at 07:00 and 15:00 every day or rent a local car.
By Train
At present, there is no railway connecting Deqin with Kunming. The Yunnan-Tibet Railway under planning stretches to Lhasa in Tibet from Kunming in Yunnan Province. After the completion of Yunnan-Tibet Railway, it’s more convenient for tourists traveling from Kunming to Deqin County.

From Feilaisi, there are minivans leaving every morning for 150RMB (for a full minivan, usually seats 7) to Xidang hot spring, which is the starting point of the trek to Yubeng village. There is also a public bus leaving to Xidang hot springs at 8 am from the gate of Feilaisi viewing platform.
How to Get to Yubeng Village from Deqin County?
It is about 43 km from Deqin county to Yubeng Village. There are only two buses departing from Deqin Bus Station(德钦客运站) at 07:00 and 15:00. Tourists can also rent a minivan getting there at the cost of about CNY 200. The journey will take about 1.5 hours.
