
Chuxiong Prefecture Children Welfare Institute
Formerly known as the Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture Children’s Welfare Institute, the Chuxiong Children’s Protection Center was established in 2013. The center focuses on the care, education, rehabilitation, medical treatment, and placement of orphaned, disabled, abandoned infants, and children from disadvantaged families within Chuxiong Prefecture.
Currently, the center provides centralized care for 50 children, including 43 residing within the institute and 7 in foster families. Among these children, there are:
