Please be noted, that after you have arrived at the local airport of Lincang City（临沧市）, you will still need to transfer by local coach or taxi to Fengqing County（凤庆县）. However, it is absolutely important for you to reach a deal with the driver or conductor before departure.

• Cost: Around 15-30 CNY, depending on your starting point in Lijiang City and traffic conditions.
• Details: Taxis are readily available throughout Lijiang City. You can simply ask the driver to take you to Shuhe Old Town (束河古镇).

2. By Bus:

• Duration: Approximately 40-60 minutes.
• Cost: Around 2 CNY.
• Details:
  • Head to the Lijiang Bus Station (e.g., the central bus station).
  • Look for buses that head to Shuhe or buses that go to the “Shuhe Scenic Area.”
  • Buses run regularly, but it’s advisable to check the latest schedule.

3. By Bicycle:

• Duration: Approximately 1 hour.
• Cost: Varies by rental shop (usually around 20-50 CNY per day).
• Details: Renting a bicycle can be a fun and scenic way to reach Shuhe. Follow the main roads leading out of Lijiang City. The route is relatively flat and suitable for cycling.

4. By Tour or Private Car:

• Duration: Approximately 30 minutes.
• Cost: Varies depending on the tour package or rental service.
• Details: Consider booking a guided tour or hiring a private car for a more personalized experience. This option is particularly convenient if you want to explore other nearby attractions.

5. On Foot:

• Duration: Approximately 2-3 hours.

How to Get to Cangyuan County from Lincang City

Transportation:

By Car – 200KM – 4 hours to 5 hours

By Bus – Bus Details:

In Lincang City, you could choose the most convenient and common transportation – BY BUS.

This article is about the transportation between Tengcheng City and Kunming. Travel to Tengchong from Kunming by long distance bus is popular among tourists. Bordering Burma to the west, Tengchong is the important gateway for China to South Asia and Southeast Asia. As the famous hometown of overseas Chinese, cultural town and vital distributing center of jade, it boasts an important geographic position since ancient time. The city is named after the town of Tengchong which serves as its political center, previously known as Tengyue in Chinese.

How to Get to Tengchong City from Kunming?

Because Tengchong dose not have raiway station , there are two ways to get to Tengchong City from Kunming which are by coach or flight. 

By Long-Distance Coach

There are 5  long-distance buses available every day from Kunming to Tengchong City (腾冲市).Tourists can take the long-distance bus from Kunming West Bus Station (昆明西部客运站) to Tengchong Bus Station(腾冲客运站), the journey will take about 9~12 hours. It costs about CNY230-289.

Haba Snow mountain is as famous as the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Both of them are suitable for hiking, photographing and climbing. The Haba Snow Mountain stands by the Jinsha River, 120 km southeast of Shangri-La and 130 km to Lijiang. How to get to Haba Snow Mountain from Lijiang?

By Bus

At Lijiang Bus Station, tourists can take a daily bus departing at 09:00 to Baishuitai(白水台) and get off at Haba Village(哈巴村). The journey will take about 6 hours. Located at the foot of the western Haba snow mountain, Haba village has become a major mountaineering center, attractive to those seeking a relatively easy 5,000-meter peak. 

Alternatively, you can take the bus from Lijiang Bus Station to Hutiaoxia Town(虎跳峡镇) for two hours, and then rent a local van to take you to Haba Village. Lijiang Bus Station, locating southwest to Lijiang Old Town on the Changshui Road, is the largest and the most trustworthy public transport station in Lijiang.

Rent a car to Haba Snow Mountain is more convenient since you can decide your traveling time as you like. It is suitable for a flexible and comfortable way.
