Dali City and Jianchuan County are both under the jurisdiction of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Jianchuan County(剑川县) is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, the northern part of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Western Hills – East Coach Station

Currently, Kunming subway Line 2 is around 14 miles (23 kilometers) long, and runs from North Coach Station to South Ring Road. It has 15 stations including the North Railway Station and the North Coach Station. This line is in operation with Line 1, so passengers can reach two railway stations of the city from the North Coach Station conveniently. In the near future, the second phase of the line will extend to Dianchi Lake area. By 2017, this line will be connected with the Line 6, so that passengers can access to the airport easily.

The train takes around 73 minutes from North Coach Station to the University Town South Station.

Extending in the north-south direction, Kunming Subway Line 1 contains two parts now: Main Line and Branch Line. The Main Line connects South Ring Road and University Town South, including 18 stations. Passengers can easily arrive at South Railway Station by taking subway line 1. This part is linked with Kunming metro line 2 at South Ring Road Station. The two subway lines are used as one so that passengers do not need to transfer to another train if they intend to take line 2. The present combined route of line 1 and line 2 runs for around 75 minutes.

The Branch Line (Northeast Extension) started to serve the public in the end of 2016, stretching around 3.4 miles (5.5 kilometers). According to the long-term plan, the northwest extension of this line will open in December, 2017.

Lancang Jingmai Airport (IATA: JMJ, ICAO: ZPJM) is an airport serving Lancang Lahu Autonomous County in Pu’er, Yunnan province, southwest China. The airport is located in Donghui Township (东回乡), 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the county seat of Lancang. Menglian and Ximeng counties are also nearby. The airport received approval from the State Council and the Central Military Commission of China in January 2013. The airport was constructed as a category 4C airport with capacity to handle 250,000 passengers and 750 tonnes of cargo p/a by 2020. The airport opened on 26 May 2017.
