Chengjiang County Entertainment

The Chengjiang Lakeside Music Festival is one of Yunnan’s newest outdoor music events, set along the scenic shores of Fuxian Lake, widely regarded as one of China’s cleanest freshwater lakes. Located just east of Kunming, the festival takes place at the Luchong Scenic Area, offering a relaxed summer atmosphere that combines live music, lakeside views, and outdoor leisure. It is an ideal weekend escape for international travelers seeking a blend of nature, culture, and contemporary music.

Fuxian Lake is famous for its exceptionally clear waters and the mysterious submerged ancient city hidden beneath its surface. Music Program

The festival brings together 13 local bands and 13 DJs, with performances divided between two main stages:

Chengjiang Summer Festival (Lixia Festival)

Visitors attending the music festival can also experience Chengjiang’s traditional Summer Festival (立夏节), a folk celebration dating back to 1755. Held north of Fuxian Lake, the festival lasts five days and marks the official beginning of the summer season.
