This article is about how to get to Lugu Lake from Xichang. Lugu Lake(泸沽湖), at the border between Sichuan(四川省) and Yunnan Provinces(云南省) and about 200 kilometers (124 miles) from Lijiang City(丽江市), is an alpine lake renowned for its stunning scenery and unique Mosuo(摩梭族) ethnic culture.

How to Get to Lugu Lake from Xichang?

By Bus

Xichang to Lugu Lake

There is about 4 buses departing from Xichang Bus Station(西昌客运站) to Lugu Lake Tourist Transport Center(泸沽湖旅游集散中心), the schedule is listed as follow:

Lugu Lake to Xichang

There is one bus departing from Lugu Lake Bus Station(泸沽湖客运站) to Xichang. It departs at 11:00a.m. and it takes about 7 hours and 30 minutes with a cost of CNY 110.
