Train Schedules of Lijiang Railway Station

Lijiang railway station is about 6 miles (10 kilometers) from Lijiang ancient city and 12 miles (20 kilometers) from Lijiang airport. From there, people can overlook the ancient city and appreciate the Yulong Snow Mountain. It was put into use on August 17, 2011 and is the second largest railway station in Yunnan after Kunming railway station.

At present, the station serves trains on the Qujing-Kunming and Kunming-Lijiang railway lines, with destinations including Kunming, Dali and Qujing.

How to Get there

Passengers can take bus No.4 from Guchengkou (horizontal square) to the railway station, or bus No.18 from Bailong square at the south gate of Guchengkou to the railway station, or bus No.11 from Guchengkou to fuhui market (opposite to likelong supermarket) and bus No.16 to the railway station.

By Long-distance Bus

Currently, the most convenient way to reach the city is by long-distance bus from the neighborhood areas. Lijiang has set up a relatively complete highway system extending in all directions. There are main thress bus stations in Lijiang, namely, Lijiang Bus Station, Lijiang Tourism Bus Station and Lijiang Express Bus Station. It is very convenient to travel between the city and other destinations in Yunnan Province. Of course, Kunming, Dali and Shangri-La are the important destinations in the classic Yunnan Travel.
